The mild winter in Mid-Western Indiana has spurred on the grass and allowed us to go to pasture much earlier than normal.  This added forage coupled with mild temperatures has jump started cow production and given us a great looking set of calves as we head into the spring months.  With planting season almost completed and a fresh inch of rain on our crops, hopes are high at Sennett Cattle.

We are beginning to gear up for many summer shows and make preparations for the busy fall sale season.  We have an outstanding set of spring born steers and heifers on the ground, by bulls like Heatwave, Who Da Man, and Smilin Bob, out of our leading donor females and a select group of frozen embryos purchased from other leading programs abroad.  With the planting season drawing to a close we hope to picture a sampling of our 2012 calf crop and have them posted on our website in the near future.
